Some examples of feedback

Julien A. December 5, 2025

I wanted to give you this feedback after using them in competition. I ran the Saintélyon last week to finish my season. I chose Mulebar for its carbohydrate content, and more specifically the fruit compotes with 35g of carbohydrates per 60g serving (approximately). With 8 hours of fueling, I wanted to avoid commercial gels but have something compact enough to fit in my pack. In the end, I used a Mulebar apricot compote about every hour, starting around the 3-hour mark. Despite some stomach discomfort at the beginning of the race, I was able to digest them quickly and without any problems; I didn't experience any blood sugar spikes or anything like that. I had tested them in training, but the taste was really good, which helps when your body is tired and makes you want to eat. I finished the race in 8 hours and 24 minutes, in the top 400 (375th) out of almost 7,000 starters, so I'm satisfied. I'm already talking about Mulebar to everyone I know and I'm looking forward to planning my next race at Mont Ventoux at the end of March with you!
