PRODUCT & COMPOSITION

Are all your bars organic?

No, 5 out of 10 recipes are certified organic by Ecocert (Pecan Apricot, Cashew Mango, Chocolate Orange, Cinnamon Apple, Ginger Lemon). The others are 100% natural but not certified organic. All are vegan.

How many ingredients are in a bar?
Between 4 and 8 depending on the recipes. All are pronounceable and natural. No E202, E330, or other strange codes. You can check on each product sheet.

Why brown rice syrup and not regular sugar?
Brown rice syrup has a lower glycemic index than white sugar. It releases energy gradually, without a sharp spike in blood sugar. And unlike fructose, it is absorbed by all the cells in the body (not just the liver, which converts it into fat). [Link detailed blog article]

What rating do they have on Yuka?
All our bars have an excellent Yuka rating (dark green). Scan the packaging with the app to check for yourself. We have nothing to hide.

What is this "fluffy" texture you are talking about?
Our bars are slow-baked, which melts the ingredients together. The result: a soft texture, easy to chew even during intense effort, that doesn't stick to your teeth and never crumbles at the bottom of the bag. Try it once, you'll see the difference.

USAGE & PERFORMANCE

When to eat a bar: before, during, or after exercise?

Before : 30 minutes before departure to build your reserve (1 bar).

During : Every 45-60 minutes to maintain the pace (1 bar + water).

After : Possible, but we recommend our protein bars for recovery.

How many bars per hour of effort?
It depends on your intensity and weight, but generally: 1 bar every 45-60 minutes for moderate effort, 1 every 30-45 minutes for intense effort (trail, ultra). Listen to your body and adjust.

Do the bars digest well? I have a sensitive stomach.

Yes. No preservatives, no gluten (according to the recipe), 100% natural ingredients. Thousands of customers with sensitive stomachs tell us these are the only bars they can digest without issue during intense effort. But every body is different: test during a training session before a competition.

Bar or gel: which is better?
It depends. Bars provide a more gradual energy (slow + fast carbohydrates). Gels are quicker to absorb and easier to swallow when you're going all out. Ideal: alternate between the two according to your needs.
